Starting point

Devon
PL9 7EJ

This is a very scenic route, with roughly two miles of it completely traffic-free. It does include two climbs worth mentioning: first along Cattedown Rd (traffic-free section part of the South West Coast Path) and the other being on the Hoe itself. Neither climb is too strenuous, and besides, the views will make it worth it!
We will cross the swing bridge on the Barbican (and dismount to cross!) before having a coffee/tea stop at the Boathouse cafe.
Those not planning on riding all the way to Devonport may choose to leave us at The Hoe, from where it is almost entirely traffic-free into the city centre. Those continuing on will ride past Ballard House, then along Millbay Road, before crossing Stonehouse Bridge using the shared south pavement. After crossing the bridge, we'll follow Richmond Walk - initially a very quiet road, later entirely traffic-free - to emerge by Mt Wise Primary School, before winding our way along quiet residential streets to Granby Way, where the ride will end.
