This is a challenging route exploring the Back Lanes (literally - there are two of them on the route) of the Western parishes, some with quaint & quirky names. Along the route you'll ride through the villages of Eccleston, home of Sir Bradley Wiggins, and Mawdesley as we pass through part of the West Lancashire plains.

There is the opportunity to stop for a well-earned cup of tea and slice of cake at the Owd Barn Tea Shop before heading back to the start point at Coppull Community Leisure Centre.
