Crawley Wheelers - Saturday Intermediate A Ride

This is an intermediate level ride intended for developing riders. If you are already riding on your own, preparing for a charity event or you want to make the step up from our Social Ride and would like some additional motivation and support this is the ride for you. Please note that due to popular demand we will be splitting this ride into 2 groups, each travelling out to the same tea stop but possibly involving slightly different routes and riding at different speeds. Please talk to your ride leader to ascertain which group will be most suitable for your requirements. Although there is a no drop ride a degree of self sufficiency is welcomed and participants should be comfortable in riding as a group. Typically this ride will be between about 30 and 40 miles in length and at a guideline pace of 12 - 14 mph. Depending on route, this ride can involve a number of classified climbs. and the ride will regroup at the top of each climb.
