Crediton Babes on Bikes Uton village loop

We will meet at Old Landscore School and cycle along quiet lanes to the delightful village of Uton before returning to Crediton via Fordton. A short ride via with optional break at Crediton Park towards the end of the ride.

This is our first ride as a group and a chance to try out cycling with trailers - and little people! No previous experience of cycling with children needed as support will be given including an opportunity for off-road skills practice. This will be a short ride around Credito to get used to the trailers with a stop built in at the park. We’d like to build up to slightly longer rides as the weeks progress.

Other than the off-road skills practice in Newcombe Meadow park, we will be cycling on residential roads and a section along the High Street in Crediton.

We will be stopping at the main park in Crediton for off road skills practice and a snack/ chance to socialise.

Helmets advised on all our rides. We have a small number of child helmets we can lend out (please let us know if you would like to borrow one) but please bring adult and child helmets if you have them. We can provide bikes and double trailers for everyone but you might want to bring your own. Water and snacks Suitable, comfortable clothing for cycling (layers advised) plus an extra layer for children.
