Cycling UK Lincoln Women's Group invites Breeze for Women Riders to join them on their Rapha 100 with a difference for the Women's Cycling Festival!
It's a gentle long slower day ride along the Sustrans NCN1 WaterRailway between Lincoln and Boston (and back), along a largely but not entirely traffic free route.

There will be short rest stops as needed because the ride is aimed at being suitable for women doing their first longer ride, (100k that's 63miles approx), but who are not club cyclists but are rather leisure, general, and social cyclists mostly.

Any style of bike and rider are welcome but as a group ride the intent is to go at the speed of the slower cyclists and help encourage them along... I expect the average speed will be somewhere between 9-12 miles an hours if there aren't any nasty headwinds or inclement weather :)

There will also likely be some riders that are joining us at alternate start points such as Woodhall Spa who do not feel up to the full ride but still want to join in and try a longer ride (please contact [email protected] if you would like to join us at this alternate start point).

There will be a long social rest and lunch break at Boston (almost certainly involving coffee and cake and likely at The Haven Cafe by Boston Marina).

Not sure what else to tell you but if you have questions then do make contact!

Ohh and there will be some Cycling UK Womens Festival of Cycling goodies for all riders :)

Details of other rides can be found at www.facebook.com/melaniecycles :)

Please bring a spare inner tube and/or puncture tyre fix foam, any specific tools for your bike needed in case of a puncture too!
Also some money, sun lotion, water, and anything else needed for your comfort or health on a long ride ;)
