Dam, a Bridge in Need of a Lift
Another new ride for the FC’s West Lancs Weekday Riders and continuing our sojourn into Cheshire. A new start point too with a visit to the Heritage centre at Walton Park and a slightly later start time to assist with travelling.
From the park we will ride towards Walton, on to Higher Whitley, round to the Anderton Boat lift, on to Gt Budworth for lunch, or maybe an ice cream at the ice cream farm.
On then through Pickmere and Tabley, Mere and Hog Green and onto Lymm and the dam. Finally a run through Stockton Heath and back to Walton Park.
We'll ride at a steady pace of 10 - 12 mph on this ride and we'll keep our pace at a level so that we can all stay together.
Remember, this is not a race, but a leisurely ride at a pace to suit the slowest in the group!
Please check your bike over the night before the ride, tyres inflated, all bolts tight, lubricated. Clothing, helmet & lights checked and ready. Please ensure you have a pump and a couple of spare tubes in case of punctures and a good secure lock.
It would be great to have some new & some familiar faces on this ride, you're all welcome & I look forward to riding with you.
Please be at the start point at least 15 mins before the ride start time, (10.15) ready to ride, so that we are able to get away at the stated start time of 10.35

We will stop at Great Budworth, cafe or ice cream farm
