Dam Flask Loop (Beginners/Improvers Road Ride)

Starting at Admiral Rodney Pub, it is suggested you Park either on the adjacent road or ride to the start point, although the pub does have a large car park. Please check signage. Parking on road near by also available.


We will head from Loxley Road up towards Dam Flask. Where we can just do a U shaped route on the flat side of the Dam. Or continue up the hill before turning down the back of the Dam in to Low Bradfield and then out where we will stop for coffee or continue round the Dam to complete the lap, and maybe do another. A helmet is recommended, as is carrying spares incase of a mechanical eg. Inner tubes and a multi tool, and drinks and snacks to keep you sustained. Road bike and Hybrid preferred but MTB's welcome but may be more difficult on the road unless you have smooth tyres.

We will stop for coffee in Low Bradfield outside one of the cafes down there. So bring cash/card.

The roads on route vary in traffic level so some knowledge of road riding and on road cycling is preferred, but info will be given in pre ride briefing. This ride is good for building confidence.

Please arrive by 8. 45 for Mcheck and ride briefing.
