DCH Beginners Intro Ride

Meeting at the Dacorum Cycle Hub, this novice ride will help you gain confidence on traffic free paths and quiet country lanes. If you're new to cycling or getting back on your bike after a while and need a gentle ride to ease you back in this is a great starting point. Come and join this friendly group of ladies for a sociable fun Saturday morning ride. Intro rides will be 5-10 miles 5-7mph, Mellow Yellows will be a novice ride average 10 -15 miles at a gentle pace of 7-8mph. We ride at the pace of the slowest rider and always wait at the top of hills so no one gets left behind. We usually stop for coffee halfway or at the end depending on the route, so come and join us for . Please remember to check your bike is in good working order, gears and brakes all working, and tyres pumped up. Don't forget to bring a spare inner tube and tools to fix a puncture should you be unlucky enough to get one. Don't worry there's enough of us to help you out should you be the unfortunate one. My rides are weather dependent, if I feel it's raining too hard, too cold/miserable/icy/snowy/windy etc then I will cancel, for your safety as well as enjoyment of the ride.
