Meet at Moel Siabod Cafe at 9 am. Ready to ride by 9.15am. You can park for free at the cafe, and we can get a brew afterward.

This route starts from the Moel Siabod Cafe, a small section of road (A5). We then climb on forest track to a historic Sarn Helen trail to Dolwyddelan, possibly stop for a brew in a lovely cafe, take a peek inside the small historic church and then back below Moel Siabod. It's a lot of Forest tracks and fun double track (will be very wet!! so bring spare socks for the end). There is one descent that is boulder strewn, but we can walk that it's not a problem. All of this accompanied by beautiful views.
This ride will run if the weather permits. If it's too bad, it can be quite exposed under Mold Siabod so I will assess the weather nearer the time. If this was the case I would try to come up with a plan B.

Its total is 24.46k, with 628.60m ascent..there is one very steep bit but we can push up.

If you're happy on red routes then this is great for you, or if you have done SOME red routes and are reasonably happy. We will take it a steady pace - nothing fast and there's nothing too technical that you 'have' to do. It's quite a social ride.

TIme wise it would be wise to allow around 4 hrs min...although it's not too far we can take breaks, and cafe stop if wanted etc..

Who else is on this ride?
