Starting point

Warwickshire
CV1 4LZ

A 6 mile easygoing ride along the canal towpath as part of the 'Drifter's Day' event at
Coventry Canal Basin. This is an 'out and back' route stopping at the Signal Box pub,
in Courthouse Green, for refreshments at halfway.
Please note, although this is an 'easygoing' ride, the towpath is quite narrow in parts
and will require riders to be confident in handling their bike - as such it is not
suitable for young children unless in child seats or tag-alongs etc.
Although helmets are not compulsory, except for those under 18yrs old, we strongly
recommend wearing one due to some overhanging branches and low bridges along the way.
Also, whilst the towpath is generally in good condition, there are some sections
which may unsuitable for road bikes with narrow tyres.
