Finding it hard to get off that couch and onto your bike?
Come and join us for one of our Easy Back 2 Basics Summer Guided rides.
Pick up some tips & new skills while meeting a friendly bunch of likeminded people.
The ride will start at Cockermouth High School where there is limited parking.

This is a beginner's ride for people interested in doing more leisure cycling, the ride is led by an experienced British Cycling trained coach, so if you have any questions or concerns about attending, need any advice or just some help starting or getting back into that saddle for this ride just message me on the riders' tab below.

We will be travelling along quite country back roads and cycle ways out from Cockermouth so be prepared for some managed uphill climbs. On the up side we always include an outdoor socially distanced drinks & snack break with a great view.

We travel at the slowest rider's speed with support and encouragement, so no one is ever left behind.
This is to enhances your enjoyment of leisurely cycling within the safety of our group.

All new comers are very welcome, this also includes e-bike riders with a fully charged battery.

Please bring with you a road worthy bike, your helmet, clothes you are comfortable cycling in, easy to remove layers work the best, a waterproof jacket, as you never know, a cold drink for along the way & a snack for our alfresco stop if needed.

Please do not attend the ride if you have Covid-19 symptoms, have someone in your household who does or if you have been asked to remain at home by the UK Government track and trace system. Cancelling your place wont be a problem.
All participants on a British cycling ride are now required to provide all their own equipment to comply with the government's self-sufficiency rules.

So, a must is your own hand pump with the correct connection for your inner tube valve plus a spare inner tube that fits your bike just in case.
Also please see the conversation tab for your essentials when booking.

We ride in a small group of 6 or fewer people, exercising out of doors, not riding face to face so rather than needing to maintain the socially distanced two metres apart until we stop for our designated drink or snack breaks.
Any questions or concerns about attending just give me a quick message on the rider tab below.
