Starting point

Glamorgan
CF64 1SN

Starting from the car park off Marconi Avenue, near the Oystercatcher, we'll start our gentle easy route by crossing the Pont-y-Werin and heading for the start of the Ely Trail in Grangemoor Park. We'll follow the trail through the evening sun up to Sanatorium Park where we can do a loop of the park before returning on the same route.

Almost all traffic free, and suitable for any bikes. One A-frame to get through at the entrance to the Ely Trail, or alternatively a curved stone gateway (will add pictures below).

We can stop off at Coffi Co by the Cardiff International White Water if anyone fancies a cuppa afterwards.

This is an almost flat route, very minor inclines. The path is a mixture of tarmac and hard packed mud/gravel, so suits any bike.

Beginners and children welcome, this will be an easy paced ride where everyone can chat along the way.
