This is a short easy ride round the quiet streets of Pinner and North Harrow. Some of it follows the new 'Metropolitan Quietway' designed by the Council to encourage beginner cyclists. If you know how to ride a bike, but are perhaps a bit nervous about the roads, this is the ride for you. You will feel safer in a group. The group will stop at the end in Daisy’s cafe for a drink and a chat.

A very easy short ride round Pinner, discovering some of the 'Metropolitan Quietway' designed for cyclists

The roads are quiet and there is a short section along the Yeading Brook, which is traffic free.

We'll stop at the end in Daisy's cafe for a cuppa

No special gear is needed, just a working bike, a lock if you have one, water and money for the cafe. Ensure that your trousers won't get caught in the chain - an elastic band will do. Before you come please check your bike over: ensure that the tyres are pumped up, the brakes work and the wheels turn freely.

We especially welcome newbies!
