Easygoing ride along the Viaduct

This is a nice easy route mainly traffic free for building confidence and getting people back on their bikes.

This ride is a leisurely flat route from the Broadway out to the viaduct and back again

Once we get out of the Broadway we will go along Colebrook street then mostly off road along the Wiers and the old railway out the Viaduct and back again

This will be a leisurely ride, at the speed of the slowest rider. At the end of the viaduct we can stop for a drink and snack before setting off back to the Broadway.

The Winchester Back on the Bike rides are a series of rides for beginners or people returning to cycling who maybe don't have the fitness or confidence they would like. We will ride at the pace of the slowest rider and ensure that nobody is left behind. The point of these rides are to build confidence and have a nice leisurely ride. If you feel that you may not be fit enough or fast enough to join us then sign up, you are exactly the person this ride is for. (You do not have to sign up for all the rides although we would love you to) All you need is a roadworthy bike (working brakes and gears, pumped up tyres). Please bring a spare inner tube and drink. Helmets are recommended by British Cycling and mandatory for under 18's.
