- Yay! Lockdown is over and we are allowed to do Breeze rides again. Shame the weather will be so cold. Definitely time to get out your winter gloves, overshoes, buff, etc.
- We will cycle from Hillingdon through Uxbridge, then on fairly quiet roads to Iver Heath, past Pinewood Studios and Black Park, Fulmer, to arrive at BB after 12 miles. We go past Black Park after 8 miles, and if it is too cold there is always the option to just go to the loo there then wimp out and turn back!
- But if we are feeling hardy we will go on to the Burnham Beeches, and stop briefly for the loo there instead. We might even feel like a quick coffee and snack (but we will be sitting outside, so it will have to be very quick before we lose feelings in our extremities!).
- Please bring a pump, credit card and at least 1 spare inner tube. I would prefer you to wear a helmet for your safety.
- We will regroup at the top of any hills and always wait so that no one is left behind.
- If you are driving to the start there is free parking on many residential roads off Long Lane e.g. Richmond Avenue UB10 9BH.
- You can take your bike anywhere on the Metropolitan Line anytime on weekends and off-peak Mon-Fri (peak hours are 7:30-9:30 and 16:00-19:00).
