Enterprise Way,
To celebrate the opening of the brand new Enterprise Way at Airport City Manchester, this is a unique opportunity for you to enjoy cycling on a 1km loop of closed road at Manchester Airport.
Whether you want to ride for fun or fitness, this free pop-up event gives you the chance to ride a traffic-free cycle circuit as many times as you want, at a pace that suits you.
The event is open to all ages and abilities and the circuit is easy to ride, with volunteers on hand throughout, ensuring peace of mind and safety for all cyclists.
For those wanting to take things up a gear, British Cycling Go-Ride coaches will also be available to help you improve your cycling skills, and local Ride Leaders and Breeze Champions will be there on the day to tell you more about other cycling opportunities in Manchester with HSBC UK Guided Rides and HSBC UK Breeze.
Don't have a bike, not a problem. British Cycling are delighted to announce that MoBIke are offering free MoBike hire for this event! We've MoBikes available, so pop down to see us if you'd like to hire one (these are only suitable for adults).
Bambino Biking are local experts in child accessories for bikes.. They will be on hand to offer individual advice about the best set up for you and your family, to suit your needs. You can try our bambino bikes set up with trailers and seats on a short test circuit.
Cycling Projects is a national charity which promotes cycling through a range of successful community engagement programmes that give people the opportunity to cycle on a regular basis; through help, support and guidance. They'll be on hand to try an array of adaptive bikes suitable for all.

Food will be provided by the wonderful Kettlebell Kitchen, whilst hot drinks are provided by the illustrious Bean and Bubble

Cycling to the event - great! If you're coming from Wythenshawe Park and Chorlton follow NCN 85. From Stockport and Cheadle cycle along NCN 558 then join NCN 85 at Heald Green. Cycling from Didsbury, then follow the TPT (W) until Northenden, then follow NCN 85 through Wythenshawe Park. For more detailed route information take a look at Sustrans National Cycle Network Map.
