Evening Breeze - to Oaks Park and the Mayfield Lavender Farm

An evening ride to the Mayfield Lavender Farm, via Oaks Park. Entrance to the Lavender Farm is £4, I'm happy to wait with bikes for half hour just over the road at Oaks Park cafe, if anyone wants a short visit. Otherwise, we can just peek over the hedge. Please bring a lock if it's likely you'll want to leave your bike. Lights recommended too, just in case we get delayed.

We'll ease into this ride with a lap of Beddington Park, before heading off towards Carshalton Park and then over the small holdings on our way to Oaks Park. This is an out and back route with a little climbing, a good introduction for those newer to hills. everyone can take them at their own pace and we can regroup at the top. Nobody will be left behind. The route will be along cyclepaths though parks, or quiet residential streets.

Please ensure that your bike is in good working order and remember to bring your helmet and a spare inner tube (tyre levers and pump too if you have them). You may also wish to bring a drink, snack, money/card, lock and hand sanitizer too.

The plan is to enjoy being out and about on our bikes.
