This will be a very easy going ride, for those wanting to have a go at riding on the roads whether you are new, inexperienced or nervous about riding on the road. It will be on some of the quieter side roads, with a maximin distance of 4 miles. We will introduce/show you the safest ways to start/stop, riding position on the road, turn left and turn right, passing a left hand turning, passing a parked car, also making a stop u turn.
We will be riding at the pace that is best suited to everyone in the group, usually between 5-7 mph. As leaders we will ensure that no one is left behind, so that all the group can have an enjoyable ride,
This is an opportunity to gain experience, while having fun learning useful tips riding on the road in the company of other riders, where there are leaders who can support you. We will return to the cycle hub, where we can have a chat about further riding opportunities.
If you would like to discuss this ride and your riding needs please contact Kathy on 07547914328
