Tuesday 17th July 2018 10:30am

Starting from - Meet at Ride On (61 Haven Road, Exeter, EX2 8DP) 10:15/10:20am to set up bikes etc (probably don't need as much time if you've been before) and then aim to leave by 10:30.

Parking nearby includes the Range car park and the cathedral and quay (5-10 minutes walk).

**** PLEASE NOTE!! We had previously set a minimum age of 10 months for little ones but are trialing lowering this as long as children attend in car seats which we will put inside the bike trailers.

We will meet at Ride On, Haven Road.

The route will take us around the river / canal and surrounding area. It will be approximately 7 miles long. Bring snacks and a drink as we will stop for little ones to have a run around a park.

The ride is suitable for those that haven't cycled in a long time. The route is flat and pretty with lots of wildlife to keep little ones entertained on route.

Bikes are included (they are the Trek brand - good brand of bike!). You have a choice of riding solo, or using a bike seat (included) or bike trailer (included) to carry little ones. We had previously said children need to be aged 10 months and over to join (due to this being recommended age for travelling in a trailer/bike seat unsupported), however we are trialling lowering this limit as long as the little one attends in their car seat which will be placed inside the trailer.

All welcome to attend - with or without children.
With children attending - a maximum two children over aged 10 months will fit in trailers or maximum of one child if under 10 months old.
Children riding in bike seats need to be over 10 months, under 5 years old.
There is no reason why you cannot tow a bike seat and a trailer if you wish, this works well if you have two or more children.
