Ferry across the Tamar- from Torpoint

This ride is open to both men and women and replaces the Torpoint Confidence Builder ride due to rider progression. We will ride down to the Torpoint Ferry and then travel across to Plymouth where we will do a circular route on quiet roads and through the parks, including Devonport Park, Stonehouse, Victoria Park and riding along the pretty coastal route to Mount Wise and Mutton Cove. All riders must be confident enough to negotiate the Torpoint Ferry and to ride on minor roads. If any participant wishes to bring a child under 16 please contact the ride leader to discuss suitability. We will stop for refreshment along the way - don't forget to bring some money!
All participants must wear a helmet and suitable clothing. Please ensure your bike is in good working order and carry a spare inner tube. On dull or damp days it is also good practice to have working lights on your bike in order to be more visible to traffic. E-bikes are very welcome.
