In the words of Noddy Holder - "It's Christmaaaaassss!"

Time for our Christmas social ride, and what better way to finish the year than the way we started - I trip out to Velolife cycling cafe in Warren Row - As this is our Christmas ride fancy dress for you or your bike is most welcome, but certainly not compulsory.

From the start we go out from Dinton across the road and through the lanes to Shurlock Row and White Waltham before we head north through Knowl Hill and onto Warren Row and the Cafe. After the stop we go almost completely downhill from Warren Row through Wargrave and Hurst and back to the start at Dinton.

As a word of warning I recommend you bring cash for the café as Velolife have had some problems with their internet connection lately and their card payment facilities haven’t been too reliable.

Children under sixteen are welcome however they must be accompanied by at least one parent, and should be comfortable with riding on the road in with a group of other riders.
We will take a number of photos before, during and after the ride which will be posted on the Fat Lad At The Back Facebook pages.

If you wish to join us on this ride then please register your interest here, and also join our Facebook page at www.bit.ly/flab_berkshire where any last minute changes etc are likely to be announced.

For everyones enjoyment and safety please read our ride advice and tips on our Facebook page, and the ‘Lets Ride’ terms and conditions page - Please note that helmets are compulsory on ALL FLAB organised rides.

Bike Maintenance is crucial for you and the group to enjoy the ride. On route punctures can and will happen, so please be sure you have at least one spare tube and the tools to fix it. You will have plenty of people willing to help, so no need to worry. Also making sure your bike is well maintained will make the ride easier for you and your bike will last longer. Any questions please ask before or during the ride. We will be happy to help.

Note – at this time of year the weather can change quickly, and last minute changes or cancellations whilst unlikely can occasionally occur – please check our Facebook page before setting off to the meeting point – any last minute changes will posted on the Facebook page by 8am.
