Starting from - The start point for this ride is Dinton Pastures country park, there is a charge for this car park of £1.50 per hour, which is capped at 4hrs charge, alternatively there is street parking in Davis Way opposite the entrance to the country park.

For those wishing to travel by train Winnersh station is a short ride from Dinton.

Meeting point is just inside the entrance to the garden for the Dragonfly cafe, please meet at 9.15am so that we can be 'wheels rolling' for 9.30am.

Starting from Dinton Pastures this ride will take us through some quiet lanes and ‘B’ roads out to Shurlock Row, and then skirting around Jealotts Hill we head out to Hawthorn Hill, Beenham Heath, Shurlock Row again and then through Hurst to the start point
.
We have two options for tea and cake with this route – we can either stop at Fernygrove Farm Shop at just over the half way point or at the café in Dinton on our return – the group can decide which option we take on the day.

Children under sixteen are welcome however they must be accompanied by at least one parent, and should be comfortable with riding on the road in with a group of other riders.
We will take a number of photos before, during and after the ride which will be posted on the Fat Lad At The Back Facebook pages.

Bike Maintenance is crucial for you and the group to enjoy the ride. On route punctures can and will happen, so please be sure you have at least one spare tube and the tools to fix it. You will have plenty of people willing to help, so no need to worry. Also making sure your bike is well maintained will make the ride easier for you and your bike will last longer. Any questions please ask before or during the ride. We will be happy to help.
