FLAB social Leicestershire North West - Sawley Marina-Trent valley loop

This is a 90% off road road route suitable for CX/Gravel bikes, MTB's or hybrid bikes with good offroad tyres. We will start from the entrance to Sawley marina heading towards Kegworth via Long Lane, We will ride some grassy field based bridleways and some tarmac cycle paths as we head around to Thrumpton where we pick up the rver bank bridleways through Barton in Fabis and Clifton village and on to the Victoria embankment in Nottingham. Our return trip follows the Big track and the river bank back through Attenborough nature reserve to our starting point at Sawley. We will stop at one of the cafes on the way back from Nottingham.
