This FLAB Social Rides North West Leicestershire ride is open for anyone to join

Starting from Sawley Marina we will ride along the river bank to Trent Lock where will then head up the Erewash canal to Stanton Lock where we will then go up the Nutbrook trail and into Shipley Park for a stop at the Ramblers cafe. After the cafe we head out of the park and back down to the Erewash canal at Cotmanhay. Here will have a ride over the new cycle path over the Ilson Giant, https://www.bennerleyviaduct.org.uk/ and onto the Nottingham canal path trail back towards Ilkeston. Here we will rejoin the Erewash canal and retrace our route back to the start. This an off road ride on well surfaced trails
