FLAB Social Ride 10/02/2018

A relatively flat and gentle ride around rural South Derbyshire. There are a couple of gentle climbs but mostly flat. The ride takes place on mostly quiet roads and smaller country lanes, traffic should be very light. Starting from Rosliston Forestry Centre we head out around some of the villages of south Derbyshire including Croxall, Edingale, Harlaston and Clifton Campville finishing at the Forestry Centre café to refuel.

The ride is best suited to Road or Hybrid bikes, that said there is no reason a mountain bike would not do the job as it's not a huge distance. Pace will be determined by the slowest riders, nobody will be left behind. There is one reasonable climb towards the end but the rest of the ride is broadly flat. The ride is intended to be a fun and social experience in an all-inclusive spirit, not a race!

Please ensure you bring a suitable bike helmet and some money for parking and refreshments. Also please register for the ride on letsride so I can understand the group numbers.
