Informal steady social ride, suitable for road and hybrid type bikes. Ridden at the pace of the person at the back, with stops at the top of hills and junctions to regroup, have a drink and catch our breath.

A route we've done before, a relatively flat run along the Trent valley, but a couple of hills to test the legs between Swarkestone and Repton. There's a few café options along the way, but initially thinking of the one at Mercia Marina that did huge portions of cake the last time we were there.

Bring a working bike, a helmet, a drink, some café money and a sense of humour!
