Starting point

Derbyshire
NG10 2FY

A nice shorter and flatter one, along the river paths from Trent Lock to the café at Beeston Lock and back again – all off road on surfaced paths, some of which are a bit bumpy in places, but while there might be puddles there shouldn’t be any proper mud. Definitely not the ride to bring a road bike on, but any hybrids or mountain bikes will be fine.
Usual FLAB rules apply – pace is governed by whoever is feeling slowest on the day, no one will be abandoned and left behind, we will wait and regroup, and catch our breath as required.
Bring a working bike, a working helmet, a working sense of humour, some money for the café and a spare inner tube to fit your tyres just in case. Dress for the weather – if the café is busy we may end up having to sit outdoors so bringing an extra layer may be a good idea.
If the forecast looks particularly nastyI may have to cancel the ride at short notice, so keep an eye on your emails!
