FLAB Social Rides Gateshead and South Tyneside - River Tyne Wylam Loop

Starting at Baltic Square, we head west along the south bank of the River Tyne, crossing the river at Wylam then head east all the way along to the pedestrian tunnel then it's a short ride back to Baltic Square

The route will be mainly paved cycleways but there are a couple of short unpaved sections and there will be a couple of sections where we are on road

Easy going, fairly flat FLAB social ride around the River Tyne Ride will be a mix of roads and paved cycleways There will stops for group photos, selfies, and cake We'll be stopping for coffee and cake somewhere on the route so please remember a face covering and cash/card for refreshments if you're planning on partaking. Any participants under 16yo must be accompanied by an adult. We request that all riders wear a helmet and in line with current COVID guidelines, please ensure that you have a basic toolkit, spare inner tube, puncture repair kit etc to ensure that you are self sufficient.
