flab social rides west riding

leaving Walton colliery nature reserve along the rd to barnsley canal where we will follow the trans pennine trail for a couple of miles. we then cross rabbit ings nature reserve onto the road to south heindley then staying on the road we drop downhill[ a weeeeee section] in to hemsworth. we will then cut through the turkey and chicken farm into fitzwilliam country park and onto nostel priory for a well earned break. from nostel its a short trip via the cycle trails to walton country park and finnish.

Enjoy a bit of strava art and create a rhino head on your chosen tracking devise.

This route is 50 percent rd and 50 percent trail with a few little hills to test your legs. Do not worry they are nothing too difficult and we will do them at whatever pace we need to on the day.

we will be stopping at Nostel priory cafe for food and drink and the necessary comfort break.[ cycling talk for toilet].

helmets are as usual mandatory .please bring spare inner tube for your bike, money for cafe and suitable clothing for the time of year.
