Leaving Stanley ferry marina along cycle route on side of canal to Castleford mill and return basically the same way.

A lovely flat beginners ride. Following the canal to Castleford approx 12 miles.

Traffic free cycle trails mostly tarmac with a short section of gravel.

Stopping halfway at Castleford mill cafe for refreshments.

Helmets must be worn on flab social rides, please bring a working bike, basic tools in case of breakdown, inner tubes to fit your bike and money for cafe stops.
