Starting from - Meeting at the Podium Cafe, 5 Thornton Street, London E20 2AD at 1130 (nearest stations are Stratford underground, International and DLR). The cafe is next to the Orbit and along "Balls" Path in South Park of QEOP.

Explore QEOP Park, New Cycle highways around Stratford area and weather / time permitting other local parks or down by the Thames for those with bursting with energy after a festive break.

This ride is open to beginners increasing distance and enjoy a sociable group with a chance to increase distance on future events.

Please wear appropriate clothing for the weather including a Helmet and winter thermal protection. Packed lunch, hydrations drinks and snacks to replenish energy levels are popular to save costs.

A hybrid/road bike is recommended. Check that your bike is fully functioning or have it serviced by a qualified mechanic. Tyres should be pumped up to the correct pressure levels to avoid delays. Bring a small pump, spare inner tube, levers, bike tool to release your tyre for possible puncture repair.
