Flying Fish Road Ride

This route leaves Eccleston and we ride through Bretherton, Longton, Hutton and return via New Longton and Croston, finishing with some quiet lanes around Eccleston.

A fairly flat road ride from Eccleston, around the lanes of West lancs, including Longton, New Longton, Croston.

This is a road ride on fairly quiet country lanes passing through some small towns and villages.

We plan a cafe stop at Sticky Weeds in New Longton and will take regular breaks throughout the ride

Helmets are always required on HRS rides. Please bring your own personal protection equipment and bike repair items should they be needed. In view of the current rise in Covid 19 infections we ask if participants could take a Lateral Flow test prior to the ride.

We welcome new members to the group and will always ride at group pace. please be aware this is a 30 mile ride and you should be confident on road for that distance.
