Starting at 9.30 am from Harpenden Cycles we will head for Wheathampstead and beyond to one of my favourite tea shops, The Brewery Tea Room in Walkern. It is a special weekend for them as they are hosting a Macmillan Charity Weekend Event. The gardens will be open, there will be raffles but most importantly tea/coffees and cake. Yum!

The route consists of quiet lanes but also some busy roads. The ride is 33 miles and it is for you if you are happy with a Blue or a step up to Blue. Road bikes and hybrids are best. Few ups but don't worry we take these at our own pace and regroup. :)
Depending on the length of the stop and weather, I am hoping to be back by 3pm.
