Fylde Fish and Ferry Meander
Starting from Squires Gate, we immediately turn right along Squires Gate Lane turning left along St Anne's Road and up towards Stanley Park and the Zoo. We travel on towards Poulton, crossing the river Wyre and on to Hambleton, Staynal, Preesall and finally Knott End for a well earned break.
We Return using the Knott End Ferry and then follow the coastal path back to Squiresgate.
We'll ride at a steady pace of 10 - 12 mph on this ride and we'll keep our pace at a level so that we can all stay together.
Remember, this is not a race, but a leisurely ride at a pace to suit the slowest in the group!
Please check your bike over the night before the ride, tyres inflated, all bolts tight, lubricated. Clothing, helmet & lights checked and ready. Please ensure you have a pump and a couple of spare tubes in case of punctures and a good secure lock.

Please be at the start point at least 15 mins before the ride start time,(9.45) ready to ride, so that we are able to get away at the stated start time of 10.05

Starting from Squires Gate we will do a tour of Fylde and the river Wyre Area

Some busy roads through Blackpool, then country lanes, the Ferry and traffic free to the finish

We Will stop for lunch at Knott End

Please check your bike over the night before the ride, tyres inflated, all bolts tight, lubricated. Clothing, helmet & lights checked and ready. Please ensure you have a pump and a couple of spare tubes in case of punctures and a good secure lock. Also there is a charge for the ferry crossing
