Gentle road ride to Bike Bus at Bourne End - 17 miles

This is a gentle paced route which will be suitable for women looking to challenge themselves a little bit. We will go at the pace of the group and no one ever gets left behind! This ride will be on the road, but we will will ride on pretty quiet country roads.

We will start in Newport Pagnell, in the carpark opposite the Fire station where free parking is available. We will use minor roads up to North Crawley, down Folly Lane, Wharley End where we will stop at the Bike Bus at 10 miles. After the stop it is basically 7 miles downhill back to Newport Pagnell.

The Bike Bus has a toilet, outdoor seating and is CASH ONLY.

Our rides are for all - we ride together at a pace that suits everyone and no one is ever left behind. We will pause to catch our breath as needed.

Please wear a helmet and bring a spare inner tube and pump, please ensure your bike is well maintained. Always a good idea to bring water.

You will be riding under the guidance of a British Cycling trained Ride Leader and Breeze Champion.

This is a covid secure ride which means that we will keep our distance from each other. Out of courtesy for others, please do not attend if you are showing any covid symptoms such as a persistent cough or high temperature, or if you have come into contact with anyone with these symptoms.
