This is a short, gentle ride around residential roads in the Norton area of Stourbridge.

The roads are generally quiet with a good surface and a few gentle undulations. The route enables people to practice their skills at road junctions and to communicate with each other, warning of upcoming junctions, potholes and light traffic. There is one main road, which we shall cross on outward and return and will make use of the pedestrian crossing.

It is ideal for anyone wanting to start cycling or for a person returning to cycling after a lay-off or injury.

The full distance is just over 5 miles and we shall stop for refreshments at the café in Mary Stevens Park afterwards.
