MK5 6JG

Join us for a ride with a difference this June as we explore some of MK’s hidden cultural gems.

Every Saturday we’ll have a different start venue and will ride one of the new Culture Trails, that have been funded by Pedalling Culture an Arts Council England initiative. We’ll explore some of the best cultural, heritage and arts sites MK has to offer.

Today - Shenleys, Tattenhoe and Loughton

A fascinating route around The Shenleys and Tattenhoe using the unique MK Redways (NB short sections of quiet rural and suburban roads). Woods, Giant Teardrops, Ancient Toots, Floods and Lakes.

It's a fascinating morning ride - bring some snacks!

Who can join a ride?
All riders including beginners and families are welcome. These rides are perfect for anyone wanting to find new cycle routes and meet new friends. Rides take place at a leisurely pace with plenty of time to stop and take in the view, visit a cultural destination or park up for a picnic – there might even be a few surprises along the way! Our Get Cycling MK guided rides are led by very friendly, experienced and knowledgeable ride leaders. We ride at the pace of the group and never leave anyone behind.

Book your place
Numbers are limited on every ride. You must book your place using the Lets Ride website. All of our rides are listed under the name ‘Get Cycling MK’ so it’s easy to see who you will be riding with.

Borrow a bike
No bike? No problem! Almost all of our rides depart from a Santander Cycles MK docking station. If you need to hire a bike follow these simple steps:
1. Register with Santander Cycles MK before the ride
2. Register for the ride on the Lets Ride website
3. Check whether there’s a bike available at the Santander Cycles MK docking station https://www.santandercycles.co.uk/find-a-bike
