The sculpture at the rear of the stadium is our meeting point. The stadium is the home of Doncaster Rovers and is well signposted.

We're doing a tour of the East, skirting Lakeside, we'll be heading on to Cantley Park, heading to Branton, where we will encounter the wildlife of the African plains and beyond (well, if you're lucky you might spot some wildlife). Leaving the Yorkshire Wildlife Park we navigate Hayfield Lakes and find ourselves at Bawtry Road on Parrots Corner. From there it's on into Rossington where we pick up the Doncaster Greenway and follow that back through Bessacarr and back to Lakeside, returning to the car park at Keepmoat Stadium. In all this is a 14 mile ride, approx, and should take, including the coffee stop, around 3 hours to complete. We'll be making a café stop en route (or a pub stop for a coffee), so don't forget to bring some money with you. Make sure you wear your helmet (this is compulsory, if you have no helmet you wont be able to ride with us) and appropriate clothing for the weather (if you have any bright or hi-viz then wear that). As usual we do expect you to have ensured your bike is roadworthy and that you have carried out basic pre ride checks; you should also carry at least one spare inner tube, a pump, and tools to enable you to change a tube if necessary. Dont forget too to bring money for refreshments and a mobile 'phone. DISCLAIMER:- This is a purely social group of like minded people sharing a love of cycling, it is not a formal organisation nor does it have any form of legal structure. We do not profess to be trained ride leaders but do have experience of doing so. You are free to choose to ride with us but in doing so please note that you do so in acceptance that this is entirely at your own risk. We cannot accept responsibility for any loss or injury suffered as a result of your participation.
