Starting point

DN8 4HZ

This ride starts from The Delves café, Field Side, Thorne DN8 4HZ Meeting at 10:15am and ride departing at 10:30am.

The route takes us to Snaith mainly along quiet lanes with some main roads and then on to our Café stop at the Old Stationhouse café near Pollington Once suitably refreshed we will continue through Pollington and onto the trans-Pennine trail to Sykehouse. Continuing on quiet lanes and another short section of TPT we head through Fishlake before returning to Thorne and the Delves café. Rest stops can be taken as often as anyone needs and we always ride to the pace of our slowest participants. Make sure you wear your helmet (this is compulsory, if you have no helmet you won’t be able to ride with us) and appropriate clothing for the weather (if you have any bright or hi-viz then wear that). As usual we do expect you to have ensured your bike is roadworthy and that you have carried out basic pre ride checks; you should also carry at least one spare inner tube, a pump, and tools to enable you to change a tube if necessary. Don’t forget too to bring money for refreshments and a mobile 'phone. DISCLAIMER:- This is a purely social group of like-minded people sharing a love of cycling, it is not a formal organisation nor does it have any form of legal structure. We do not profess to be trained ride leaders but do have experience of doing so. You are free to choose to ride with us but in doing so please note that you do so in acceptance that this is entirely at your own risk. We cannot accept responsibility for any loss or injury suffered as a result of your participation.
