Starting point

London
W5 2BY

A shorter ride, to visit a lovely park with an excellent café, tucked away in the residential roads of Brent. From Ealing, we use quiet roads up to Hanger Lane, then follow the cycle path alongside the North Circular via Stonebridge Park, riding past the spectacular BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir to reach Neasden. From there it’s a short ride into the peaceful green space of Gladstone Park, where we can challenge ourselves to ride up the hill to the Stables Café and the ruins of Dollis Hill House.

After refreshments at the café, we will ride on using Quietway 3 to Willesden Green, then turning off it to visit Roundwood Park and make our way through Harlesden to the Grand Union Canal. A brief stretch of canal towpath brings us to Park Royal and back to Ealing.
This is an urban ride and will be going at a leisurely pace. Most of the ride uses minor roads, traffic free cycle paths and shared paths in parks, but we will encounter some busy roads, so you need to be fairly confident riding in traffic.

Please do not attend if you or anyone in your household has any Covid 19 symptoms or is currently required to self-isolate. We will maintain social distancing and hygiene precautions. Please bring hand sanitiser, wipes etc and a face covering, unless you are exempt.
