Glasgow Saturday Social cycle - Afternoon Tour de Clyde

Easy going route from Glasgow Green out to the David Livingston Centre. Great practice run for anyone considering commuting in to Glasgow from Blantyre/Uddingston/Hamilton.
Traffic Free or minor roads, perfect introduction to cycling for anyone starting out or wanting a little more experience before looking to cycling more for commuting or socially.

Using a combination of National Cycling Routes 75 (https://www.sustrans.org.uk/ncn/map/route/route-75) and 74 (https://www.sustrans.org.uk/ncn/map/route/route-74) we will wind our way out to Blantyre crossing the River Clyde 3 times on the way out and 3 on the way back.

If you are just looking for a social ride to get a short spin into the legs, then please join us but please be aware it is a no drop ride and we will only go as fast as the slowest rider. In the words of Ferris Bueller, "Life moves pretty fast, if you don't stop and look around once in a while you could miss it"

Will be meeting folk at Doghouse Merchant City (G1 1SN) at 13:00 with to cycle out to Glasgow Green to start the route so if anyone wants to meet there first, I will see you there. Feel free to send a message to let me know you are wanting to do this. I will be leaving Doghouse at 13:30 sharp so please don't be any later than then otherwise we will get you at Glasgow Green (G40 1EF).
