This ride on a mainly traffic free route will take us to the town of Balloch, gateway to the Loch Lomond national park, passing the historical towns of Clydebank and Dumbarton.

The route follows Ncr7, part of the national cycle route network and uses a old railway path, canal towpath and riverside path. The ride is relatively flat and is scenic with views along the clyde estuary and riverside path between Dumbarton and Balloch..

In Balloch we will stop at Loch Lomond shores which offers a good viewpoint( weather permitting) to Scotlands most southerly munro, Ben Lomond.

There will be plenty of opportunities to stop along the way for refreshments or have lunch at the halfway point at Balloch.

Helmets are required and bring tools/repair kit in case of a puncture.
