A special Olympic themed ride in our Going For Gold series. These rides coincide with the 2021 Tokyo Olympic Games and all visit some of the Royal Mail post boxes which were repainted gold in 2012 to commemorate British gold medal winners at the London 2012 Summer Olympics and Paralympics. This particular ride visits the two gold post boxes in the Chorley area to celebrate the success of cyclist Bradley Wiggins who used to live in the area.

Mostly undulating country lanes with some A road sections.

We will have a cafe stop in Eccleston which is next to one of the gold post boxes.

Helmets are compulsory and participants need to be self sufficient as regards any punctures and/or repairs so please bring a correct spare inner tube, tyre levers and pump. Also, please have your own PPE, drink, snacks and payment method for the cafe.

We never leave anyone behind
