An easy 23 mile social ride out to the Cafe at Sturgate Airfield where we can sit out if its fine and see any flying action. The route is all tarmac with just one climb but we stop and regroup at the top and there is no shame in walking. From Scotter we head out via Kirton. Grayingham and Willoughton, up on to the B1298 for a couple of miles then down to Harpswell and on a lovely long, quiet lane to Heapham and on to the Airport. Return will be via Springthorpe, Corringham and Northorpe.
This is a social ride and we expect to average 10 - 12mph but we go at the speed of the slowest and no-one is left behind.
