Urmston

A flat route that starts at Urmston Leisure centre, before departing Trafford via Irlam Locks to the other side of the ship canal (into Salford and Cheshire) passing Irlam and Cadishead (using the cycle path on the side of the A57). The route returns to Trafford via Worthington bridge and onto Dunham Massey where a well deserved tea and cake stop can be had. The route then returns to the start using a combination of trails and roads.

Please arrive in time for us to carry out the pre-ride checks and leave at the stated time.
You should have a bike that is in good working order and carry the means to fix a puncture, although help can be offered if needed. This ride is best suited to a road or hybrid bike, rather than a mountain bike.
