LE1 5BN

Join us on this Ride Leicester Festival event which re-enacts events around the city in the aftermath of the 1919 murder of city factory worker Bella Wright. Bella, who lived in Stoughton, was murdered in July 1919 not far from Little Stretton on the Gartree Road. This ride of around 10 miles doesn't travel to the murder scene but in stead visits the significant places in Leicester that saw the police enquiry lead to Ronald Light's arrest and the Crown Court trial at the Castle. The ride will visit the fabulous and newly refurbished Crown Court where Ronald Light will once again be in the dock with the jury looking on.
