Guided bike ride, Christmas festive lunch at the Whitchurch Inn (age 18+)

Com on you know you can’t resist, so put on your best Christmas jumper and decorate your bike with tinsel and light (optional but great fun if you do) and come join us on this festive ride and lunch at the Whitchurch Inn(by Tavistock) with its cosy open log fire. This ride is open to men and women age 18+ Please bring suitable clothing according to the weather and if you have room, a joke or two. For safety reasons all participants will be expected to wear a helmet, if you wish you can decorate it too, Go on Its Christmas.

We will meet at Coypool park and ride by the bike hire bus and cycle at a pace of 9-10mph 0n the traffic free NCN27 to Yelverton, then onto the drakes trail to Whitchurch where we will meet the road leading to the Whitchurch inn at the top of the hill. This small section will be on main road. After lunch we will climbe onto the moors and continue up and down up and down through Little Huckworthy and Walkhampton to Yelverton and back to Coypool on the plym trail.

We will settle for lunch/refreshment at the pub, hopefully by the open cosy log fire. Their menu is extensive and plenty to choose from. Tasty light bites, starters, rolls and wraps or if you wish a turkey dinner or cheesy chips. Some of the mains are available in smaller portion at a reduced price. So bring some ££££ with you.
