This is a very pleasant ride along the River Taff and to picturesque Cosmeston Lakes Country Park.

We will cycle down the Taff Trail to Penarth Marina, and up the 'zig zags', getting off to walk is fine if you need to! Then on quiet roads through Penarth joining the cycle path along the old railway line on to Cosmeston Lakes. After a refreshment stop (approx 30 min) we will carry on through the park and out into a lane, cutting back through back to Penarth Marina and returning up the Taff trail to Hailey Park.

We will be cycling on a mixture of traffic free shared cycle paths, and quiet roads.

We'll stop at the cafe at Cosmeston Lakes

Please bring a bike lock and also a spare inner tube if you have one, cycle helmets are advised. Also some money for the cafe stop.

We never leave anyone behind
