Summer is definitely here, so it's time for a longer ride, enjoying the river and parks, and beautiful gardens of Hampton Court.

This is a wonderful ride, with lots of green spaces and glorious views, riding on traffic-free routes across the Royal Parks and along the waterways of west London. From Ealing, we will use the Grand Union Canal towpath down to Brentford and Syon Park. We ride through Isleworth and on to the riverside path to Richmond Bridge, where we will cross the river and then follow it through Ham and down to Kingston. Crossing again at Kingston Bridge, we have another beautiful stretch of riverside ride round to Hampton Court. Our lunch stop will be the Tiltyard Café at Hampton Court.

The return ride takes us across Bushy Park and back to the river at Teddington. Crossing the Teddington footbridge, we ride through Ham and enter Richmond Park through the Ham Gate. After a sharp climb, we enjoy the glorious views across the top of the Park, before leaving through the Sheen Gate and having a leisurely ride along the river back to Kew Bridge, and then back to Ealing.
