Handsworth to West Brom and back

A circular route that follows relatively quiet roads and part of the A4040 then dropping down on the canal to head north toward West Brom. Where we emerge back onto Oldbury Road and turn onto Brandon Way heading roughly east on to Kelvin Way and on to Kendrick Way and then on the metro path. We need leave the path past the Hawthorns and back onto the roads again heading toward Booth Street and a gentle climb and finally back to the start point crossing Soho Road.

A fairly simple loop out from the start to the canal which we follow until we reach almost West Brom.

We will be following a mixture of roads partly on the A4040 until we turn off onto the canal. At the far end of the route we re-join the road and follow main roads and service road back towards Handsworth where we drop on the metro path. After that we pick up the roads again back to the start point.

No planed stops though West Brom Town Centre would offer the best options.

Just bring along normal ridng stuff a drink and a jacket if it looks like rain.
